DeBartolo to Begin Phase II in Meadowlands Town Center
Release Date:
August 28, 2007 CHARDON, OH -- DeBartolo Development LLC is pleased to announce that they have begun site work for the second phase of their Meadowlands Town Center project located in Chardon, Ohio. This project will be a continuation of Phase I which includes Home Depot and Super Wal*Mart as the anchor store. This Super Wal*Mart center is the only store within the area bounded by the Pennsylvania state line to the east. Traveling south one must go to Middlefield, about 13 miles away to find another Super Wal-Mart, all of which creates a significant draw to the property. Chardon is located at the intersection of I-44 and Route 6. The closest significant retail marketplaces are the Mentor area which is 20 minutes away to the north and the Mayfield/I-271 intersection to the west which is 26 minutes away. With this draw, it is no wonder that the Phase II section of this center is already 90% leased. As of right now, signed leases for the space provided have been agreed upon with Staples, Best Cuts by Regis, Sally Beauty, Shoe Show, Home Savings and Loan and Fashion Bug. "We at DeBartolo Development are delighted to continue the construction of Meadowlands Town Center. These small shops are going to be a great asset to this growing community," says Edward Kobel, President and COO of DeBartolo Development, LLC. DeBartolo Development, LLC in brief: DeBartolo Development, LLC continues the tradition of developing premium retail and mixed-use real estate projects throughout the U.S. Further information on the company and its development projects can be found at www.debartolodevelopment.com.
