LAKELAND, FL -- DeBartolo Development is proud to announce that they have begun site work for their Arbor Glen Apartment project in Lakeland, Florida on July 27th, 2007. This project will consist of 12, three-story buildings with 324 units of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms that will lie on 343,846 square feet of gross building area including a clubhouse, office and maintenance garage.

Lakeland is centrally located between Tampa and Orlando. The area offers residents and visitors a wide variety of sports, entertainment, cultural and educational opportunities. The Arbor Glen Apartments will be located in Lakeland off of exit #33 on the I-4; SR33 is just south of this development. DeBartoloÂ’s market research indicated that there was a shortage of the "for rent" product in Lakeland as the market is extremely strong partly due to the population and job growth, but also due to the centralized location between Orlando and Tampa. In addition, they found that approximately 78,577 Polk County Residents commute from Polk to either Hillsborough (Tampa) or Orange County (Orlando) for employment purposes. This site is in an ideal location to capture these larger markets.
