Florida Retail Investors I made a senior secured loan to an investment entity that acquired over $9 million of real estate tax certificates throughout the State of Florida. The investment was structured to provide the Fund an attractive rate of return on its investment on a substantially over-collateralized bases with the potential opportunity to acquire certain retail assets associated with the acquired tax certificates.
