CRP II completed its first acquisition by purchasing Sunshine Shopping Plaza in December of 2007. Located in Lee County, Fla., at the intersection of Homestead Road and Loop Road, the 111,189 square foot plaza is in the center of the 60,000 acre master planned development of Lehigh Acres. Built in the 1970s with renovations completed in 2006, the center is anchored by a 47,922 square foot Winn Dixie, which has been located on the property since 1989, and includes junior anchor Ace Hardware. The site is located in the heart of Florida’s rapidly growing Southwest Coast, approximately 13 miles east of Ft. Myers, 20 miles east of the Gulf of Mexico and 33 miles northeast of Naples.
